2,500-LB TRIP LIMIT FOR LOLIGO SQUID EFFECTIVE SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 2ND.
NOAA Fisheries Reports 80% of Quarter III Quota Harvested

The Division of Marine Fisheries (MarineFisheries) is providing this notice that effective Saturday, September 2nd at 0001 hours, the commercial Loligo squid fishery will be subject to a 2,500-lb. daily trip limit. This action is being taken after NOAA Fisheries reported that 80% of the Quarter III quota for Loligo squid has been harvested. The 2006 Quarter IV quota for Loligo squid will become available on October 1, 2006.
