Due to an unavoidable delay in the distribution of 2008 permit renewals, the Division of Marine Fisheries (MarineFisheries) has extended the validity of 2007 permits through January 31, 2008. Valid 2008 permits will be required by February 1, 2008. MarineFisheries is currently mailing out permit renewals and 2007 catch reports. Please be advised that 2007 catch reports are due at MarineFisheries by January 31, 2008, with the exception of commercial striped bass catch reports, which were due no later than November 30, 2007.
