STATE LOLIGO SQUID TRAWL FISHERY TO OPEN APRIL 23rd WITH
2,500-LB TRIP LIMIT
NOAA Fisheries Reports 90% of Trimester Quota Reached on April 13th

The Division of Marine Fisheries (MarineFisheries) is providing this notice that the state Loligo squid trawl fishery will open April 23rd under a 2,500-lb. trip limit. This action is being taken after NOAA Fisheries reported that 90% of the trimester quota had been taken as of Friday, April 13th. The state waters small-mesh trawl fishery is open from April 23rd through June 9th.
