“I need to get to the Upper Mystic Lake !”  

The Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries has issued a State wide ban on taking Herring from their waters because of the fish’s declining population.

The Medford Boat Club and Mass Division Marine Fisheries are sponsoring our

4th Annual “Herring Bucket Brigade",

With the assistance of volunteers we are going to help the Herring on their annual plight to reach the Upper Mystic Lake to lay their eggs.

Meet at the Dam between the upper and lower Mystic lakes with your bucket.
