Commercial BLUEFISH fishery to close SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 6, 2008
Landings permitted until midnight on friday september 5, 2008
Current landing and dealer reporting information indicates that the Commonwealth’s annual bluefish commercial quota (516,619 lbs) for 2008 will be reached by Friday, September 5. Therefore, effective Saturday September 6, at 12:01AM, commercial fishermen are prohibited from landing or possessing bluefish through December 31, 2008.
