Under the provisions of M.G.L. Ch 30A and pursuant to the authority found in M.G.L. Ch. 130 ss. 17A & 70 Division of Marine Fisheries (DMF) and the Marine Fisheries Advisory Commission (MFAC) have scheduled a hearing to accept comments on a recent emergency action that established a minimum size of 2 ½” shell height for bay scallops that have a well-defined growth ring measuring less than 10 mm from the shell hinge.

A public hearing has been scheduled for:
Tuesday, January 6, 2009 ( 3PM ) at the Barnstable Senior Center (825 Falmouth Rd./Route 28, Hyannis ).
