Default Case Study Values and Management Options for WEAP in Massachusetts

To assist communities in being able to utilize the capabilities of the WEAP system, default values for many water resource projects in Massachusetts were collated and coded into a Massachusetts-specific version of WEAP. In addition, a new tutorial section highlighted the use of these values in assessing integrated solutions to water resource management decisions similar to those facing many Massachusetts communities: Will increasing water supply capacity cause a wastewater treatment plant overload? Are centralized sewers more expensive than on-site systems? Can Low Impact Development requirements help to maintain stream flows? etc.
