DOER is pleased to announce the following grant opportunities for cities, towns, regional school districts, water and waste water districts (note: applications closed 2/8/08 for the current round of grants outlined below; please check back 7/1/08 for Fiscal Year 2009 program opportunities):

• Alternative Energy Program:
  • Grants to Repair Renewable Energy Systems

  • Grants to Install Biomass Pellet Space Heating Systems
• Energy Conservation:
  • The Energy Audit Program (EAP) to identify capital improvements that help cut energy costs
