CSE hosted the annual conference of the National Council of Child Support Directors at the Parker House in Boston in late June. The 4-day event was attended by over 150 state and federal government managers and vendors who provided services to child support agencies. Forty-three of the fifty-four state child support directors attended as well as the Commissioner of the federal Office of Child Support Enforcement and directors of the Oneida and Navajo tribal programs.
The conference agenda was full of discussions of today’s critical child support issues ranging from how to leverage technology to improve performance to providing family centered services. It wasn’t all work though -- there was also time for networking and learning about Boston’s many activities (see video above). The 20 Massachusetts attendees joined their colleagues for a Boston Harbor Cruise and helped their assigned teams compete in a Boston Scavenger Hunt.
All-in-all, a great success!
