The Illegal Tobacco Commission is a nine-member panel chaired by Revenue Commissioner Amy Pitter. The Commission’s mission is to study the illegal tobacco market in Massachusetts and the subsequent loss of tobacco tax revenues. The Commission is required to make recommendations on how to maximize collections and prevent illegal activity by March 1st, 2014.
