The Department of Revenue is pleased to announce the release of its annual filing season presentation. The informational videos are full of useful information for both tax practitioners and taxpayers and include an update on important tax law changes; a discussion of recent health care reform changes - in particular the new minimum creditable coverage provisions affecting the individual mandate; and a talk with the Department's Taxpayer Advocate about the role of the Advocate and some commonsense filing tips for a stress-free filing season. In addition, the host takes viewers on a visit to the Department's computer facility in Chelsea to learn more about DOR's expanded WebFile program.

Professional tax preparers can earn a CPE credit for watching the video by taking DOR's electronic exam.
