Category
Criteria in the administration category
concern the overall administration and management of a nursing home. A
facility must be administered in a manner that enables it to use its
resources effectively and efficiently to attain or maintain the highest
practicable physical, mental and psychosocial well-being of each resident.
- Efforts are made by the
facility to resolve grievances the resident may have, including those
with respect to the behavior of other residents.

- The facility must make
the results of the most recent survey available for examination in a
place readily accessible to residents and must post a notice of their
availability.
