Secretary Reville Hosts Community Forums on Patrick-Murray Administration Priorities for FY 2012 Budget

Meetings designed to gather feedback and engage public in development process

BOSTON - Tuesday, December 14, 2010 - Education Secretary Paul Reville today announced that he is hosting two public forums to discuss the Fiscal Year 2012 budget for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Secretary Reville will present the context for the FY12 state budget and gather valuable feedback from members of the public about their priorities for funding. The forums will begin with a short presentation from the secretary and be followed by an interactive conversation with audience members. The suggestions received will help inform the development of the state's FY12 budget.

The two meetings will be held:

  1. Tuesday, December 21, 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.
    Worcester State University, Blue Room of the Student Center
    486 Chandler St., Worcester
  2. Thursday, December 23, 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.
    English High School, Auditorium
    144 McBride Street, Jamaica Plain
