EEC is partnering with the CAYL Institute to offer this one-day roundtable which is designed for early childhood program director and administrators and elementary school principals, many of whom also serve young children, and will focus on aligning strategy and planning from Pre-K through 3rd grade as critical components to building a system of early education and care. The scholarship will cover registration fees, a continental breakfast and lunch. The scholarship application deadline is April 15th. You will be notified of your scholarship status no later than April 22th.
As of July 1, 2010 this grant program is no longer in effect. The Building Careers grant provided funding for college coursework and other necessary college supports such as academic advising and career counseling to educators in the early education and care and out of school time field who were seeking a degree in early childhood or a related field. Please refer to the new Educator and Provider Support grant and EEC's online Professional Development Calendar for professional development opportunities and support services.
