Access to Homeless and Teen Parent Contract Slots
As a continued effort to manage the deficiency in the income eligible account, EEC is closing access to vacant homeless and teen parent contract slots effective immediately.
All homeless and teen parent families must be enrolled and entered into eCCIMS by close of business on Wednesday, April 20, 2011. There will be no exceptions.
As children leave currently filled homeless or teen parent contract slots through attrition, the vacated slot may be refilled.
Please note that EEC reserves the right to disallow payment for children who are inappropriately placed into homeless and teen parent contract slots according to EEC policy and this EMB.
EEC recognizes the hardship families may experience due to this policy and will continue to carefully monitor caseload data to seek to restore access to EEC financial assistance as soon as possible.
