The New Normal: Engaging Diverse Families Conference

Helping Teachers Educate Young Students About the "New Normal".

On Monday November 19th 2012, the Department of Early Education and Care held “The New Normal: Engaging Diverse Families” conference to support educators and education professionals working with children in early education and care, out-of-school time, and public school programs, in understanding the challenges and unique needs of children and families related to adoption, gender identity and English language acquisition.  WWLP Ch.22 covered the conference on their TV channel and website.
