District and School Assistance Centers help schools and districts engage in a continuous cycle of improvement. Similarly, the Regional System of Support and DSAC staff engage in their own continuous cycle of improvement by partnering with an external evaluator to assess the quality and impact of their assistance services.

The following is a summary of findings from evaluations of the DSAC initiative conducted by the UMass Donahue Institute. The evaluations indicate that overall, DSAC priority districts are highly engaged and satisfied with DSAC assistance.
