Hard copies of approved/renewed licenses
The Office of Educator License no longer sends out hard copies of approved/renewed licenses. You can view an unofficial copy of your license by logging into your ELAR account. Once logged in, select the Check license status and history, make payment link on the Welcome to ELAR homepage. Scroll to the bottom of the Inquiry - Activity Summary page, and click on the License Information View/Print button. All Massachusetts public schools also have direct access to the ELAR portal and can verify employee licensure status online.
Obtaining a hard copy of your license
If you would like to obtain a hard copy of your license(s), you may request a copy or duplicate via ELAR for a $25 fee. On the Welcome to ELAR homepage, select Request a Duplicate License, and follow the prompts. When requesting, please also make sure that the contact information in your ELAR profile is up to date.
