Under 330 CMR 13.00 , the Department of Agricultural Resources registers pet foods that are distributed or manufactured in Massachusetts. Under
330 CMR 14.00 
, the Department also registers commercial feeds that are manufactured, sold, or distributed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Registration and Fees
Firms are required to
register
by February 1.The annual registration fee is $100.00 per product. A late fee of $25.00 per product is applied if firms do not register by February 1.
No tonnage fees are charged on commercial feed or pet food.
