Agricultural Law Memo ("ALM")

From time to time, the Department’s Legal Services Division will make available short informational memoranda addressing commonly encountered situations that implicate the laws and regulations of the Commonwealth governing agriculture. Each ALM will be indexed as to subject matter, and will carry a unique sequential identifier (e.g., ALM 10-1). The ALM is not legal opinion or advice and is not intended to have direct applicability to any specific situation that may have prompted its issuance. Rather, the ALM serves only to inform the general public on how DAR Legal Services interprets state law to be applicable to hypothetical but typical situations.
