If you think you have identified a NEW aquatic invasive species (AIS), take a picture and report it. By reporting your sighting you will provide important information to the AIS reporting network.
Massachusetts AIS Reporting Network
The Massachusetts AIS Reporting Network is designed to provide a quick reference for taxonomic questions and easy access to primary contacts when potential AIS are detected. The individuals in the reporting network have taxonomic expertise in the listed categories. These individuals also represent their respective state agencies in the AIS Working Group, which coordinates any rapid response or control effort.
The Massachusetts AIS Reporting Network is also a part of a national taxonomic expert directory. Visit the Aquatic Nuisance Species Task Force Experts Directory.
