. Thank you to all the cleanup coordinators and volunteers who made this year such a great success.

In 2015, 2,643 COASTSWEEP volunteers scoured the shoreline and even dove underwater to removed more than 12,500 pounds of trash and other marine debris. Holding the top spot as most-found item: cigarette butts (45,900). Some of the more unusual finds included: a sleeping bag, a hospital IV bag, an unopened can of corn, mace, Nerf darts, and a message in a bottle. THANK YOU VOLUNTEERS – HOPE TO SEE YOU AGAIN IN 2016!
