Canoeing Program provides canoes, boat stabilizing outriggers, adaptations and support for successful canoeing experiences on a lake.

Kayak Program offers equipment and instruction free of charge for flatwater kayaking. Call the Universal Access Office for more information and other program locations.

Paddleboat featuring a hand cranking mechanism, with entry from an accessible floating dock. Fee for use. Call park for availability

Rowing Program utilizes adaptive rowing shells and volunteer instruction to make the joys of being on the river accessible to all. No fee. For information and registration call the Universal Access Program Office.

DCR Park Interpreters invite visitors with disabilities to nature walks and interpretive programs scheduled seasonally around the state.  

Assistive listening equipment is available upon request at many parks. Recorded brochures, walks, and tours are also available at some parks.
