DCR’s Universal Access Program offers accessible yurt camping for campers with disabilities!
July 9–12 and September 10–13
To reserve one of the Universal Access Program's yurts or for more information about camping with the Universal Access Program, call Rachael at 413-545-5745
Yurts offer an accessible camping experience for campers of all abilities and are a comfortable way to enjoy natural surroundings without “roughing it.”
A yurt is a circular, domed structure that is supported by a wooden frame and covered in heavy, durable canvas. It has a spacious interior with a skylight, screened windows, and locking doors. DCR yurts are furnished with beds, a table and chairs, and electricity.
These yurts can accommodate either 4 or 6 people, so bring your family and friends! The smaller yurts cost $45 per night for MA residents and $50 for non-MA residents. Larger yurts cost $55 per night for MA residents and $60 for non-MA residents.
Cabins are available for rent year round. Yurts are available during the main recreation season. Please visit our Fees page for information regarding day-use and camping fees. Cabins are available at:
