The Office of Water Resources maintains a network of approximately 150 precipitation observation stations throughout Massachusetts. We also maintain a precipitation database which may be used for many purposes and which is available to the public.
Current Water conditions reports describe precipitation trends, dry periods, high or low river flow conditions, ground water levels, and review the current water year. They can be downloaded from this page.
