This program focuses on the learning of outdoor skills - skills traditionally passed from father to son - but valuable to anyone wishing to enjoy outdoor pursuits.
A sampling of workshop offerings may include basic fishing, beginning shotgun, kayaking, map & compass, reading the woods, archery, pond and stream adventures, nature photography, martial arts, outdoor and game cooking, edible plants and much more.
Designed primarily for women, it is an opportunity for anyone 18 years of age or older who may have never tried these activities, but wants an opportunity to learn. Co-sponsored by local conservation / sporting groups .

Deer Hunting Seminar for Outdoorswomen and Men
Designed for both women and men (18 and older) who are new to deer hunting. In this seminar, participants will learn about deer behavior, what to wear, what gear to bring on a deer hunt, deer management, sighting in a firearm and other useful tips. This is Part 1 of a 2-part workshop. Part 2 is a guided Deer Hunt for adult women. Men and women may sign up for Part 1 (Seminar) and women may sign up for Part 1 and Part 2 (Hunt). No previous hunting experience is required for the seminar. Space fills up quickly, with registration preference for new hunters/first time participants.
