Comments From the 2009 BOW Weekend in Becket
...My sister and I attended the BOW weekend this year for the first time. The facilities were perfect, your staff is totally devoted and supremely enthusiastic and organized, the whole weekend agenda was jam-packed with great stuff, and the workshops (and instructors) were fantastic. Karen and I haven't had this much fun learning new and exciting outdoors skills and experiences in a long time (and we thought we were pretty avid outdoorswomen already)!
Birding Class Participant -- The best part of this session was the peace and serenity. I learned the bird calls I have heard for years and had not known. Even with my disability, I was able to keep up and enjoy the woodland birds.
Safe Firearms Handling Class Participant -- This class was terrific. I was very nervous about handling guns and this class allayed my fears. I really appreciated the instructors' hyper-conscious safety awareness.
