State Botanist (Conservation Biologist IV)

The Department of Fish and Game, Division of Fisheries and Wildlife seeks qualified applicants for the position of State Botanist (Conservation Biologist IV).

The State Botanist compiles and analyzes data on the occurrence and distribution of populations and habitats of the state’s flora, especially its rare and endangered plant species. As an integral part of the Natural Heritage & Endangered Species Program (NHESP) the State Botanist also plans and implements inventory, research, and management programs to conserve the Commonwealth’s endangered, threatened and special concern plant species.
