Each year, the Massachusetts Saltwater Recreational Fishing Guide provides you with basic information about the Commonwealth’s recreational fishing rules and opportunities.  Available at tackle shops throughout the state and at each of our offices, this guide is updated annually to reflect the current regulations and hot topics in Massachusetts recreational angling. It is also a good resource for coastal access sites.

The 2017 edition includes articles on the new Harwich artificial reef, best handling practices for fishing, and black sea bass. Winners of the 2016 Massachusetts Saltwater Fishing Derby are also included in the guide.

Information on recreational lobstering and crabbing can be found within this guide, as well as information about species native to Massachusetts marine waters.
