MassBays Citizen Monitoring Network Summit
September 29, 2016
9:30am to 4:00pm
Massachusetts Division of Fisheries and Wildlife Field Headquarters
1 Rabbit Hill Road Westborough, MA 01581
Who should attend?
Coastal citizen monitoring program coordinators and resource agencies.
Why a Summit?
We all know the importance of citizen monitoring to our understanding of coastal conditions and trends. MassBays hopes to foster collaboration among programs and identify how we might help build capacity around the region.
What will we be talking about?
MassBays seeks to launch a network of Massachusetts coastal monitoring programs!
The Summit will include plenty of networking time, opportunities to articulate your own program’s needs, resource materials, and practical presentations. It will offer a combination of expert panels and a pair of concurrent breakout sessions where participants will be encouraged to discuss the potential for connections among researchers, government agencies and other monitoring programs to inform future monitoring and to collaborate assessment efforts.
What does it cost?
It's free! We only ask that you come ready to share your expertise and your questions -- we'll supply lunch.
How do I sign up?
Use this link to register and reserve your spot. We'll also ask which breakout discussion you're most interested in joining.
Registration closes on Tuesday, September 20, so don't wait to sign up!
