Every public drinking water system that is registered with MassDEP has a Certificate of Registration mailed to them every year in January. This Certificate indicates that the system is registered with the state of Massachusetts and must comply with the Massachusetts Drinking Water Regulations 310 CMR 22.00. Systems may need to provide this certificate to certain official visits by health departments or other agencies when applying for permitting.
MassDEP is now going electronic with the Certificates of Registration and will no longer mail copies out to all systems. You may now print your own certificates when needed.
To obtain your Public Water System Certificate of Registration select your PWS from the drop-down list and then click on the "Get Certificate" button. This will open a new window with a PDF of your Certificate of Registration.
