- Sustainable Water Management Initiative (SWMI)
The Sustainable Water Management Initiative (SWMI) page offers an interactive GIS map that presents a graphic display of biological categories and groundwater withdrawal levels developed through the SWMI process and supporting materials. The SWMI Grant Program is in its second year and assists public water suppliers and municipalities, providing funds to implement projects. MassDEP received 26 proposals for this grant year. For information, please read the following: Sustainable Water Management Initiative Grant Summary 2013 MassDEP is currently offering grant funding to communities, providing incentives for minimizing existing impacts.
