	<summary type="html">The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) has helped to fund more than 300 energy efficiency and renewable energy projects in cities and towns across Massachusetts. Now underway or completed, these projects are putting hundreds of people to work, helping the state and municipalities meet nation-leading clean energy goals, and fueling the Commonwealth's rapidly-growing clean energy business sector. In Western Massachusetts, more than 70 Recovery-funded clean energy projects have been completed or are underway.</summary>

	<summary type="html">BOSTON - Friday, May 14, 2010 - Furthering the Commonwealth's commitment to lead the nation in clean energy standards, the Patrick-Murray Administration today announced that 40 cities and towns across the state have adopted new energy efficiency standards for residential and commercial construction in their communities. Adoption of the so-called "Stretch Code" satisfies one of five criteria cities and towns must meet to be designated as "Green Communities" under a Department of Energy Resources (DOER) program that will distribute approximately $7 million in renewable energy and energy conservation grants to eligible communities in its first grant round this summer.</summary>
