Proposed amendments to 225 CMR 10.00

Acting under statutory authority of Section 11C of Chapter 25A of the General Laws, DOER is proposing amendments to portions of 225 CMR 10—Energy Management Services (EMS) Contracts.  The proposed amendments address the following: improve clarity, allow for the installation of “on-site electrical generation equipment,” and incorporate best industry practices.

Public Hearing

DOER will conduct a public hearing to receive oral and written comments on the proposed regulations. Parties are requested to provide written copies of their testimony.

Recently promulgated Amendments

On December 20, 2013, the final amended regulation was published in the Massachusetts State Register. The amendments to portions of 225 CMR 10—Energy Management Services (EMS) Contracts, improved clarity, allowed for the installation of “on-site electrical generation equipment,” and incorporated best industry practices.”
