BOSTON - April 9, 2010 - As part of the Patrick-Murray Administration's Massachusetts Recovery Plan to secure the state's economic future, Energy and Environmental Affairs (EEA) Secretary Ian Bowles today announced that 56 projects have received a total $4 million in federal stimulus funding to help install 4 megawatts (MW) of solar power at sites throughout the Commonwealth. Under the Commonwealth Solar Stimulus program, the 56 awards will go to a variety of projects generating from 5 kilowatts (kW) to 200 kW of power each.
