The Leading by Example (LBE) Program funded pilot projects at agencies and state colleges focusing on the priority areas of energy efficiency, renewable energy, waste reduction, and water conservation.

Ten projects were awarded grants on 7 campuses and 3 state agency facilities. Each pilot project will provide details of its results as the projects are implemented. In addition, 5 campuses were provided funds to install electric submeters in various facilities.
