EEA Secretary Sullivan to Honor Students for Excellence in Energy and Environmental Education at State House on Monday

WHAT:	On Monday, May 7, 2012 at 11 a.m. Energy and Environmental Affairs (EEA) Secretary Richard K. Sullivan Jr. will host the 18th Annual Secretary’s Awards for Excellence in Energy and Environmental Education at the State House in Boston. This event recognizes Massachusetts schools, students and nonprofit organizations that design programs to extend mandatory K-12 science curriculums to include environment and energy-related themes – ranging from habitat conservation and environmental protection to recycling and renewable energy. The ceremony will honor schools and nonprofits from 24 communities across the Commonwealth.
