Department of Fish and Game Officials to Honor Trout Unlimited's Efforts to Restore Red Brook


What Red Brook Family Day is a Massachusetts and Rhode Island Council of Trout Unlimited annual event to celebrate the restoration of Red Brook and is hosted by the local Southeastern Massachusetts Chapter of Trout Unlimited at the Lyman Reserve, a property of the Trustees of Reservations (TTOR). Significant portions of Red Brook have been successfully restored through an active public-private partnership lead by the grassroots efforts of the local Southeastern Massachusetts Trout Unlimited Chapter in partnership with TTOR, the Department of Fish and Game's (DFG) Divisions of Fisheries and Wildlife and Ecological Restoration, and local, regional and national partners. The event includes a cookout and presentation of awards.

Where Lyman Reserve, 1009 Red Brook Road, Wareham
Directions From Route 25, Exit 3, bear right off ramp and take immediate right onto Head of-the-Bay Road. Follow for approximately three miles around the eastern and northern shores of Buttermilk Bay. Parking lot entrance is about 250 feet beyond Packard Street on right.
