Agricultural Resources Commissioner Visits North Attleboro Farmers' Market

WHAT:Department of Agricultural Resources (DAR) Commissioner Scott Soares will visit the North Attleboro Farmers' Market at Attleboro Farms on Sunday, January 23 to showcase a successful Massachusetts Farmers' Market operating over the winter. The visit will include a tour of the market by market manager David Scanlan. For the first time, the market will feature the sale of wine. There are 16 winter markets in operation across the state this year, double the number of markets open last year. The North Attleboro market is one of two year-round farmers' markets in Massachusetts.
