Prescription Advantage is the state-sponsored prescription drug insurance plan for Massachusetts residents age 65 or older, as well as low-income younger individuals with disabilities, who meet income and employment guidelines. Prescription Advantage offers comprehensive prescription drug coverage that is combined with an annual out-of-pocket spending limit to provide affordable prescription drug coverage.

To request an application or for more information on enrolling in Prescription Advantage, please contact Customer Service at the telephone number listed below.

Applications can also be obtained through local Councils on Aging, SHINE offices, or by contacting Prescription Advantage directly.

Please note: The legislation which funds Prescription Advantage requires the Executive Office of Elder Affairs to operate the program within its appropriation for the current fiscal year; thus, during the course of the year, the Plan may be required to impose cost containment measures.
