Current Commonwealth Employment Opportunities(CEO)
We will have a number of internship opportunities for college students this summer. Possible placements include Coastal Zone Management and the Division of Conservation Services in addition to other policy areas. All internships are unpaid but range in number of hours required per week and length of internship. Full-time students who have completed at least one year of college are eligible to apply, and an interview is required as part of the application process. Housing is the responsibility of the intern.
Specific responsibilities are project orientated and determined by each division director. Computer skills are necessary; some familiarity with Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook is expected. Previous office experience is strongly preferred.
We try to ensure that each intern has an enjoyable summer, and a memorable learning experience. Towards that end, there is a regular speaker series, in which senior members of the Executive Office meet weekly with interns. Within the work constraints of each office, interns are also permitted and encouraged to attend a legislative speaker series as well as outside field trips.
To apply, please mail cover letter and resume (including program of interest) to:
