The Office of Technical Assistance and Technology regularly sponsors or co-sponsors conferences and workshops on regulatory requirements, green chemistry applications, and new and proven pollution prevention technologies for specific industry sectors. Additionally, OTA offers technology transfer seminars, called Technology in Process (TIP), as a way to share a technology that would make a profound contribution to pollution prevention for a specific industry or process. OTA works with a host company to structure the seminar so that participants have a close-up look at the innovative technology or process from the shop floor, and the opportunity to determine if the technology is right for thb.
