And the Winner is…Common Intake!

The votes are in and the Virtual Gateway’s Common Intake won the prestigious 2008 Digital Government Achievement Award given by the Center for Digital Government!

Common Intake is an application that enables human service providers to apply on behalf of clients for multiple programs and services, including MassHealth, Food Stamps, and a variety of other programs.

MassHealth’s Howard Caplan accepted the award on behalf of the Virtual Gateway team and its partners. In his acceptance speech, Howard thanked all his co-stars — the wonderful staff at EOHHS agencies and provider organizations who have worked tirelessly to strengthen Common Intake and expand access to human services to residents of the Commonwealth.

Department of Children and Families Kids Fund

Kids Fund logo
The Kids Fund was established in 1998 to accept contributions from corporations and private and community contributors to help abused and neglected children in the care of the Department of Children and Families. Money received is disbursed in many different ways during the year to help make a difference in a child’s life. Expenditures include holiday gifts, summer camps, family field trips, car seats and childrens events.
