Supplemental Security Income (SSI) is a cash assistance program administered by the Social Security Administration for the elderly (over age 65) and disabled. Individuals receiving SSI are automatically eligible for MassHealth. The Malden Centralized SSI office handles food stamp benefits for SSI recipients.
