Overview of Wilmington Childhood Cancer Study
The Community Assessment Program is conducting a study of childhood cancer in Wilmington to address community concerns about the pattern of cancer among children living in the town. All childhood cancers are being considered in the study, including brain cancer, Hodgkin's Disease, leukemia, and non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Information collected will be used to evaluate whether Wilmington children diagnosed with cancer share any common patterns or risk factors, including possible environmental factors.
