Low-vision evaluations and low-vision devices to maximize the individual's residual vision.
Homemaking services for those who are under the age of 60 and need extra assistance because of a second disability or illness
Mobility instruction
Rehabilitation teaching to help the person learn new ways of performing day-to-day tasks
Peer support groups to allow individuals to meet and discuss issues they have in common as legally blind persons
Assistive devices, such as reading lamps, large print calendars, and talking clocks and watches, to improve daily living
