Brain Injury and Statewide Specialized Community Services (BI&SSCS) Family Assistance Program
The Family Assistance Program addresses the needs of the families and significant others who are living with individuals with traumatic brain injury.
Family assistance is provided by BI&SSCS's clinical consultants in the home, in a clinician's office, or at a site where individuals with traumatic brain injury and their family/significant other may be receiving services. The services provided through BI&SSCS's Family Assistance Program may include:
- Development, implementation, and monitoring of in-home strategies which address changes often resulting from TBI.
- Assistance in identifying clinical needs and accessing appropriate clinical services.
If you are interested in finding out more about the Family Assistance Program, please call BI&SSCS and ask to speak to the Service Coordinator for your region of the state.
