Social and Recreational Resources

The Statewide Head Injury Program provides funding for recreation activities across the state, to provide individuals with brain injury an opportunity to participate in group events, identify leisure interests, develop social connections, and improve the quality of their lives.  Many individuals have opportunities to improve their planning skills, decision-making skills, and leadership skills by assisting in the selection and design of each event offered. Different activities focus on physical activity, artistic pursuits, wellness, community access and general entertainment.
