  • Massachusetts Commission for the Blind Information Tape:
    Listen to weekly happenings at MCB, updated every Friday. Toll free: 800-392-6450.
    Once connected, state "information tape" and you will be routed to the weekly happenings at MCB.
  • National Federation for the Blind's NFB-Newsline
    NFB-Newsline free for individuals who cannot read regular print: An application can be downloaded from National Foundation for the Blind.
  • Talking Information Center (TIC)
    TIC is a radio reading service that provides the reading of daily newspapers, periodicals, shopping guides, best selling books, community events and more:

    Talking book circulates recorded books and magazines; large print and braille materials at no cost to people who are blind, vision impaired, or physically disabled through the U.S. Mail System.
  • Choice Magazine Listening
    • Choice Magazine Listening is a free audio anthology for a an audience of blind, visually impaired or physically handicapped subscribers.
  • Recording for the Blind and Dyslexic
    • RFB&D's library contains an extensive collection of audiobook and textbook titles. To access RFB&D's library, membership and fee is required.

    • Hadley School for the Blind
      Hadley School for the Blind offers correspondence classes on Braille and a range of other topics for individuals with blindness, their family, friends, and supports. Classes for individuals with blindness and their family are free of charge.
