The Department is always looking for thoughtful, responsible community members to volunteer to become involved as guardians. Guardians are court appointed volunteers who serve as decision makers for people who need support. They may be temporary or permanent. They can make decisions in a specific area of a person's life (e.g., medical decisions) or in other areas.
